With festival season now upon us it's only right for us to give you a low down of our favourite festival hairstyles so you can slay all season long!
Festivals are the perfect excuse to be more experimental with your hairstyles. Read on for our top tips on how to nail this.

Braids are a failsafe festival look but are often overdone. A fun way to mix this look up is to add rainbow elements throughout the braid. Josephine Skriver perfected this look at Coachella earlier this year and if it's good enough for a Victoria's Secret Angel, then it's definitely good enough for us! #unicorngoals
Chanel Iman also rocked this look at 'chella 2017 and she is SLAYING!
When in doubt, beachy waves are always a winner and give off a relaxed festival vibe. Gigi Hadid and the VS girls are hair goals everyday so any style they rock is sure to be a winner.
Our Free Styler is the PERFECT festival accessory for hair top ups and will ensure you have gorgeous waves all festival long. Prepare to become obsessed with this tool!
No one does festival inspo quite like Kendall Jenner and Space buns are THE ultimate festival hairstyle. Not only does this style look super cool it is a great way to keep your hair out of our face whilst you party the night (and day) away.
Want to mix this look up? Have half your hair down with two glitter buns on top. Of course it isn’t a festival without glitter, so add some glitter to your buns for that extra festi vibe.
There’s no better time to experiment with your hair colour than at a festival and no one knows this better than Kylie Jenner. Kylie was KILLING it at Coachella this year; stepping out with this neon yellow hair do on day one of the festival and rocking this fluorescent purple look later on in the weekend. Alternatively, channel your inner Jourdan Dunn and go for a pastel purple. Love!
The mini braid
Celebrity hair stylist extraordinaire Bridget Brager styled this mini parting braid on Kate Bosworth back in 2016 for Coachella. Of course this style caught on straight away and we’re hoping festival season 2017 sees the return of the mini braid! The top tip for owning this look is to keep the pieces of the braid small to make sure it stays looking super cute and intricate.
Mini braids can be paired with both soft flowing waves and sleek straight hair, so they are very versatile and can be worn by all! If you struggle to get the braid perfect on the parting line, little braids throughout the hair are a good alternative and look just as adorbs!
Topknots have been spotted everywhere recently and have become an A lister favourite and we can see why. From red carpets and runways to street style and Coachella looks, the topknot has it all.
Taylor Hill could do festival hair in her sleep and she is the queen of the topknot, so cute and so easy to do. The topknot is also perfect for that day 3 festival hair when the lack of showers really starts to take its toll.
The hun - bun
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: the hun – bun is the ultimate lazy day hairstyle yet still looks so chic. A festival favourite of Taylor Hill and Vanessa Hudgens, this is the perfect style to hide a number of festival hair sins. The half bun, ‘hun’, is the hottest hair trend there is and definitely isn’t going away any time soon. We salute you hun – bun!
