With the festive season now well and truly upon us this too marks the beginning of party season. We have rounded up 5 of our favourite party looks for those of you needing some much-needed hair inspiration.
1) Hollywood Waves
The look: Glamorous waves are always a head turner and are a classic party look. Pair this look with a killer dress & statement jewellery and you’re sure to be the belle of the ball.
The celebrity inspirations: Miranda Kerr, Amanda Seyfried, Blake Lively, Jessica alba
How to: Using our wave wand hold this diagonally and wrap hair around the barrel to create a deep wave. Brush through hair after curling to create soft waves.
Top tip: Part hair at the side to add that extra Hollywood glamour.
2) Slicked back hair
The look: A favourite of Gigi Hadid, this hairstyle is simple and bold and the perfect Friday night look. The trick for pulling this off is to make sure your hair is full of volume.
Celebrity inspirations: Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Ashley Graham
How to: Using the Ultra Dryer, blow-dry your hair up at the roots to add volume, then straighten hair and softly backcomb sections by the root for height. Finish this look by smoothing out the top of the hair with a paddle brush.
Top tip: Our ultra dryer is the perfect tool for voluminous blow drys.
3) Soft high bun
The look: The messy high bun is an effortlessly chic look and one of the easiest trends to try on yourself.
Celebrity inspirations: Jennifer Lopez, Ciara, Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus
How to: If your hair is naturally curly, blow dry hair with a diffuser to add texture & volume before sweeping it back and up into a high bun. If hair is naturally straight, instead, plait hair when wet to create extra texture & volume before putting hair into a bun.
Top tip: Leave a few strands of hair loose to add softness around the face.
4) Dramatic ponytail
The look: The classic ponytail is given a modern twist with this dramatic look. This voluminous pony is sure to stay bouncy all day and night.
Celebrity inspirations: Margot Robbie, Kendall Jenner, Julianne Hough, Doutzen Kroes
How to: Create waves in the hair with a wand before beginning to add texture. Gently backcomb hair at the roots to add volume at the front. Create the ponytail and tease hair at the base of the ponytail.
Top tip: To complete this look, wrap a section of hair around the base of the ponytail to hide the hairband.
5) Sleek straight hair
The look: When in doubt, this style is always a winner and looks amazing whatever your hair length. This look proves that party glamour doesn’t have to be complicated.
Celebrity inspirations: Chrissy Teigan, Jordan Dunne, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Beyonce
How to: Deep condition hair before beginning with a moisturising conditioner to add shine. Split hair into sections and straighten hair from the root downwards. Repeat throughout the hair until all the hair has been styled.
Top tip: Our Ultra Styler allows you to have sleek, straight hair whatever your hair type.
